Greetings!

I’m glad you are visiting our website, and it’s my privilege to introduce you to Hillcrest Baptist Church.

As you continue exploring our webpage, you will see the many ways we serve God and one another, as well as the ministries available for different ages.

Hillcrest Baptist Church exists to glorify God. We do this by making disciples who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ found in the Scriptures, and by helping others to discover who Jesus is and what He did for all of humanity.  While we are doing this, we stand ready and waiting for our blessed hope, which is Jesus Christ’s promise to return for His bride, the church, and then to be with Him forever.

I invite you to join us for worship on Sunday. Whether you have yet to discover who Jesus is or have already learned who Jesus Christ is and are trusting Him for eternal life; this is your personal invitation to join us in worshipping the Lord.

When you join us for worship, you will encounter a fellowship that is eager to welcome and embrace you and to love and encourage you in the Lord. Our worship is a combination of songs and hymns that are founded upon the Scriptures to help ensure that we are worshipping God in biblical truth. You will find people dressed in various styles. So, dress in a way that you feel comfortable worshipping the Lord.

While you are here, you will hear the Bible taught from the normal framework of interpretation. This simply means that there are no hidden meanings in the Bible that need to be discovered and that we interpret the Bible as you would any important document. You will hear that the truths of the Bible apply to us today.
